I LOVE my tribe!
The past three Wednesday morning workouts have been nothing but EPIC. We Run Big D has completely outdone itself. Two Wednesdays ago, team workouts were incorporated into the session, which allowed the tribe to actually get to know one another. Since then, the strong implementation of partner workouts have been working like a charm. Last Wednesday's workout was nothing but "ballsy". Multiple tennis balls with different workouts on them! Wtf?! So crazy!
Leaving everything up to chance, you reach down, grab a ball, and hope you didn't get "Jumpee Up the Hill", or "Burpees", but that's the beauty of it. If you got it, you did it. Loved it! The enthusiasm presented during Wednesday morning workouts, for sure carry over to the Friday morning Hill repeats. I know there are multiple groups out there that enjoy being together just as much as ours. However, let me be biased and say that WRBD does it on another level. We get excited about running hill repeats. Who does that?!?! The mofos of A Tribe Called "We Run Big D". That's who! We pump up the music and have at it. Making the hill ours! This Wednesday, was DOPE! The tribe is building a "fitness movement" community. The key word being "community". People in a community tend to come together in support of one another. Today was just that. Anyone, old and new of the tribe, saw the evidence in that. My heart smiled today, even bigger than it normally does.
Today, a new comer won the challenge, and the entire tribe went into an uproar! THAT is community! Building confidence and being genuinely proud of another person's success! All fitness levels. All backgrounds. All ages. All people. That's my WRBD... #ilovemytribe Let's go!!!
